  • "Naked" was about bearing yourself: body and soul, for better and for worse. Some people said yes, like Jake and Marley. Others said no, like Rachel. Sam was reminded he was more than a body. All in all, a satisfying episode delving deeper into the way we see ourselves and what we present to the world. Everyone's growing up these days, and not just by changing their hair. There's some internal growth in both New York and Lima.

  • Flashback! The Trenton Campaign is in full swing; Miles and Monroe are darting through rubble as the bullets fly. As they rest, Miles reveals he's shot - and he wants Monroe to lead the men out of here. Nope, says Sebastian. If Miles dies, Sebastian is dying right beside him.

Side note: I'm not supposed to think Miles and Monroe were lovers, right? Right. Sorry.

  • It seems early to crown the second best episode of Glee's fourth season, but "Dynamic Duets" is in hot contention for that title. After the intense drama of "The Break-Up," we are treated to a well-acted hour, chock full of great performances, with a deceivingly silly theme.

Superheroes.

  • Will starts things off with a quick announcement – he’s leaving for his blue ribbon panel job in Washington, right before sectionals, and oh by the way, his replacement is Finn.

This is met with histrionics (Tina) and confusion (Wade, who rightly points out, “It’s not like we really know him”) as the choir room erupts.

  • As Miles, Nora, Aaron, and Charlie attempt to cross the heavily guarded Allegheny River, things rapidly go from "dangerous" to "imminent death." They escape machine-gun-wielding guards, and hide in an abandoned building. Apparently machine guns mean Strausser - that crazy, crazy bastard - is nearby. By the way, he is the only person Miles is afraid of.
