WATCH: New Marvel Studios’ ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ Destiny Featurette

It was a very important week for Tony Stark when fans were introduced to an organization called the Ten Rings in the MCU for the first time. Instead of building the Jericho Missile his captures asked for, he decided to work on a few other things instead. Now, 13 years later, we’re finally going to learn more about that particular story. Shang-Chi may not be interested in standing by his father’s (the evil overlord who oversees the group) side but can he change his destiny?

On Dec. 3, 2018, star Simu Liu sent Marvel a tweet asking if they were going to talk about the role or not. He was introduced to the fans at San Diego Comic-Con in 2019 and the rest is well, history. Join producer Kevin Feige, stars Simu Liu and Awkwafina and director Destin Daniel Cretton in this new video. Marvel Studios also released a new poster as well. Don’t forget to check it out below.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will be the second theatrical release in the phase 4 timeline and is set to open in theaters in the U.S. on Sept. 3rd. The final month countdown will officially start on Tuesday, Aug. 3rd. Is the movie on your watchlist? Let us know in the comments below!
