Comic-Con@Home ’21: ‘Doctor Who’ Series 13 Update

Team TARDIS is back. If you haven’t caught up with the show yet, please be wary of some potential spoilers ahead. Here’s what happened at Sunday’s Comic-Con@Home 2021 Doctor Who panel.

The last time we left the fam, Ryan and Graham said their farewells and went back to their lives in Sheffield. Joining the Doctor and Yas this series is British Comedian John Bishop as Dan. If you missed his initial cast announcement on New Years Day, you can watch it here. The panel was moderated by Salon.com’s Melanie McFarland and featured showrunner Chris Chibnall and cast members Jodie Whittaker, Mandip Gill, and John Bishop. They talked about what it was like to be back, that series 13 will be a continuous story, some of their favorite moments, answered fan questions, and more.

In addition to our trio, we will also be introduced to a new range of guest characters throughout the series. The images below feature our TARDIS crew and one of the new guests named Vinder (played by actor and musician Jacob Anderson/Raleigh Ritchie). He wasn’t able to make it to the panel but he did leave us a message. Welcome to the Whoniverse, Jacob!

While it is expected for a lot of what’s coming up to be under wraps for now, the panel did give us a trailer. That’s all we have at the moment. Thoughts?
