WATCH: New No Time to Die trailer

No Time to Die Rami MalekA new trailer for No Time to Die, the next James Bond movie, has just dropped and it’s more explosive than ever.

As previously reported, No Time to Die is directed by Cary Fukunaga (True Detective, Maniac) with a script co-written by Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Killing Eve.) This will be Daniel Craig’s fifth time playing the iconic spy and allegedly his last. The film was originally supposed to premiere in April 2020 but the release date has since been pushed to November.

The film also stars returning cast members Lea Seydoux (Spectre) as Dr. Madeleine Swann, Ben Whishaw (Skyfall) as Q as well as new additions, Rami Malek (Bohemian Rhapsody) as Bond’s latest nemesis Safin, Lashana Lynch (Captain Marvel) as Nomi, the new “00” agent taking over after Bond’s retirement, and Ana de Armas (Knives Out) as Paloma, a CIA agent supporting Bond. Other cast members include Jeffrey Wright as Felix Leiter, Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny, Christoph Waltz as Ernst Blofeld, Ralph Fiennes as M, Rory Kinnear as Bill Tanner, and David Dencik as Waldo.

The high-octane trailer not only shows more thrilling action sequences with the iconic spy but also shows some more of Rami Malek’s mysterious villain.

“We both eradicate people to make the world a better place,” Safin declares ominously, “I just want to be a little…tidier.”

But Bond isn’t the only capable combatant displaying his skills in the trailer. The clips also show the fighting prowess of both Paloma and Nomi, who will prove to be valuable allies to Bond should he choose to collaborate.

Here is the official synopsis of the film:

“In No Time To Die, Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.”

No Time to Die will debut on November 20.
