WATCH: Space Force Trivia Challenge

As Netflix launches its new comedy, Space Force, the all-star cast celebrate by competing in a celebrity-style quiz show to raise awareness for World Central Kitchen.

The show was hosted by Roy Wood Jr. (The Daily Show Correspondent and also a minor cast member “Army Liaison Bert Mellows” on Space Force itself). The caste members who participated were Steve Carell, John Malkovich, Ben Schwartz, Diana Silvers, Tawny Newsome, Jimmy O. Yang, and Lisa Kudrow.

Here is the official synopsis of the show:

“A decorated pilot with dreams of running the Air Force, four-star general Mark R. Naird (Steve Carell) is thrown for a loop when he finds himself tapped to lead the newly formed sixth branch of the US Armed Forces: Space Force. Skeptical but dedicated, Mark uproots his family and moves to a remote base in Colorado where he and a colorful team of scientists and “Spacemen” are tasked by the White House with getting American boots on the moon (again) in a hurry and achieving total space dominance. From co-creators Carell and Greg Daniels (The Office), Space Force is a new kind of workplace comedy, where the stakes are sky high and the ambitions even higher. John Malkovich, Diana Silvers, Tawny Newsome, Ben Schwartz also star, alongside co-stars Lisa Kudrow, Jimmy O. Yang, Noah Emmerich, Alex Sparrow and Don Lake. Howard Klein/3Arts (The Office) serves as executive producer, as well.”

World Central Kitchen is a charity that aims to safely distribute individually packaged, fresh meals to vulnerable communities across America – for children and families to pick up and take home or delivered to seniors who cannot go outside. Currently, WCK is active in dozens of cities and providing more than 250,000 fresh meals daily.

WCK is also providing jobs for restaurant staff and meals for all those in need. The #ChefsForAmerica movement aims to link people who need meals and restaurant workers who need to earn a living.
