If you were captivated by AMC’s supernatural horror series NOS4A2 last year, or you’re just itching to go back to Christmasland – you’re in luck! AMC has finally announced the release date for NOS4A2‘s second season!

New episodes of the series will begin Monday June 1st at 10/9pmc on AMC. Not only will we get weekly hour long episodes, but it’s also been announced that the entire season will be released digitally via BBC America. So all you binge watchers with BBC America, take note!

AMC describes the second season as the following:

Eight years after the events of season one. Vic McQueen (Ashleigh Cummings) remains more determined than ever to destroy Charlie Manx (Zachary Quinto). Charlie, having faced his own mortality, emerges desperate for revenge against Vic. This time, he sets his sights on the person who means most to Vic – her eight-year-old son Wayne. The race for Wayne’s soul sends Vic and Charlie on a high-speed collision course, forcing both to confront the mistakes of their pasts in order to secure a hold on Wayne’s future.

In releasing the second season, AMC hopes the show will have the same captivating effect as their other shows, like Killing Eve. “With NOS4A2, Jami O’Brien, along with an incredible cast led by Zach and Ashleigh, have delivered a unique take on the vampire story, fueled by Joe Hill’s spine-tingling novel. We’re excited to open this high-stakes story up to entirely new audiences,” said AMC Networks President, Sarah Barnett.

A trailer of the second season has yet to be revealed, but a handful of first look photos have, like the one above. But just play some Christmas music (keep an eye out for any Rolls-Royce Wraiths though) and NOS4A2 will be here before you know it!
