‘American Horror Story’ Season 10 Cast Announced

Another season of American Horror Story speculation is upon us. Luckily, we already have a lot to look forward to.

While we don’t know much about the show’s historic tenth season yet, co-creator Ryan Murphy revealed the season’s cast list in a teaser video shared on Instagram. Set to an Orville Peck song, the video unveiled the cast’s names against the backdrop of an overcast, gloomy beach. Fans haven’t wasted any time in trying to pick it apart for clues; the bleak and vaguely nostalgic tone has inspired a myriad of theories. A foggy, coastal town with a deep, dark secret? Eldritch horror (my personal favorite guess) with a side of cryptids? A moody period piece? Aliens?? Bloodthirsty mermaids??

Honestly at this point, anything is possible. For American Horror Story, anything goes.

There’s good news for longtime American Horror Story fans, though. Some of our OG favorites are returning after their hiatus during AHS: 1984. Familiar faces join them, along with a new cast member to lend some fresh (and surprising!) talent to whatever horror awaits us.

Season 10 will include:

  • Kathy Bates
  • Macaulay Culkin
  • Leslie Grossman
  • Billie Lourd
  • Sarah Paulson
  • Evan Peters
  • Adina Porter
  • Lily Rabe
  • Angelica Ross
  • Finn Wittrock

Now that is a solid cast! Obviously, there are some notable names left off this year’s main list, but this is American Horror Story. We’ve seen it before: anyone could show up at any time. And since it’s the show’s milestone tenth season, there’s bound to be some surprises. But this featured cast is totally packed with talent and it feels worth getting excited for. There hasn’t been an official theme announced or a premiere date given, but we’ll keep everyone updated on any information they decide to tease us with over the coming months.

In the meantime, let the speculation and theories begin…

What do you think of the cast announcement? Hyped? Disappointed? Let us know in the comments!
