You fans, you can breathe a sigh of relief and continue to stalk Joe Goldberg’s obsessive antics – You has been renewed for a third season!
With the announcement of two more novels to be set in the You-niverse by Caroline Kepnes, this doesn’t come as too much of a surprise. But seeing how those novels haven’t been published yet, and given that the second season deviated from the second novel, Hidden Bodies, I know you’re dying to find out what’s in store for Joe and co.
As mentioned from Netflix, season three will have a whole set of ten new episodes, with co-creators Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti returning as executive producers, and Gamble also as showrunner.
And you needn’t worry – Penn Badgley and Victoria Pedretti will reprise their roles, with additional cast members to follow at a later time.
Along with the renewal announcement, Netflix revealed this teaser of sorts for the upcoming season. After all, it’s a “new year, new You.”
While season 3 of You isn’t set to premiere until 2021, you can catch up on the first 2 seasons of the series right now on Netflix!
