Disney+: Our Look at ‘Marvel’s Hero Project’

For more than 80 years, Marvel has created characters that have resonated with fans from around the world. Each character has something that makes them unique. But the folks at Marvel have always created their characters based on inspiration from the real world. Marvel’s Hero Project (a new original series coming to Disney+ this November) takes that practice and turns it into an action that creates an even bigger impact for these young heroes.

Kathryn’s Rating: Definitely Recommend

Each episode of Marvel’s Hero Project features the story of one of these young heroes from across the country. From the Sensational Jordan to the Unstoppable Adonis, each young hero is standing up for something. They’re not only standing up for themselves but they’re also standing up for others. They’re starting a conversation, working hard, and challenging the impossible. They’re not letting the status quo get in their way and we can’t wait to see what they do next.

Season 1 of Marvel’s Hero Project will have a total of 20 episodes. New episodes will air every Friday. The show is Marvel Entertainment’s first non-scripted reality series and is being produced by Marvel New Media in partnership with MaggieVision. It’s an inspiring narrative that’s giving these young heroes a platform to remind the world that you are enough and can make a difference. Your voice matters.

We love how the show celebrates the power of diversity and features the stories the world needs to hear right now. It will tug at your heartstrings but that’s okay. It’s supposed to. We hope you consider adding it to your watch list when Disney+ launches for users on November 12th. In the words young activist Elijah Lee, “Don’t let the world count you out.” You don’t have to have supernatural powers in order to be a superhero in your community.
