Disney’s ‘The Little Mermaid’ Celebrates 30th Anniversary with Digital, 4K Ultra HD, and Blu-Ray Release

The Little Mermaid will finally be part of that world — that is, the Walt Disney Signature Collection — with the release of a new edition on digital, 4K Ultra HD, and Blu-Ray platforms to celebrate its 30th anniversary. The Signature Edition has got gadgets and gizmos aplenty for sure! One of the most exciting of the special features is the all-new Sing-Along Mode for those who wish to interact out loud.

Travel back under the sea with Ariel and friends to celebrate this two-time Academy Award®-winner (Best Original Score and Best Original Song “Under the Sea,” 1989) classic in style. The music of this enchanting movie is the main focus of the special features, which include a sit down with composer Alan Menken and several leading ladies of classic Disney films (you’re sure to recognize many voices!), and a behind-the-scenes look at footage from the original recording sessions for the movie.
