LISTEN: Josh Groban/Andrea Bocelli Release Audio For New Song

Josh Groban‘s newest album Bridges won’t be available until September 21, 2018, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been getting a sneak peak of it. If you’ve been following along on his YouTube channel, they have been releasing videos of some of the songs in full. The most recent one is a very special collaboration with Andrea Bocelli. They sing “We Will Meet Once Again” in Italian.

Why is this collaboration so special? In 1998, Bocelli couldn’t make it to the Grammy’s rehearsal show to sing “The Prayer” with Celine Dion. Producer David Foster decides to do a David Foster thing and ask 17-year-old Groban to sub in for him. His voice certainly caught everybody’s attention and the rest is history.

To our surprise, an original collaboration like this hasn’t happened between the two until now. Don’t worry, music fans. You’re in for a treat with this one. It’s 20 years worth the wait. Trust us. It’s magic.

You can preorder Bridges here.

Don’t forget to watch the rest of the playlist. We’ll keep it here for your reference:

He will also be on tour with Idina Menzel this fall. You can see if they’re coming to a town near you here.
