American Gods fans rejoice! The cast of the show and executive producer Neil Gaiman will be making an appearance for the first time at this year’s New York Comic Con in October.
According to IGN, this will especially historic since Gaiman will be returning to Comic Con after many years. He’ll be joining the cast on a panel which will take place on Friday, October 5 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. ET at the Hammerstein Ballroom at the Manhattan Center.

“The God Squad wants you! For the first time in many years, Neil Gaiman will be at New York Comic Con! He will join your favorite cast for their first official NYCC panel and will share an exclusive first look as the battle continues between New Gods and Old in Season Two of the hit STARZ Original Series. American Gods is a one-hour drama adapted from Neil Gaiman’s novel of the same name.
Following the epic showdown at Easter’s party, Season Two ups the ante with Mr. Wednesday continuing his quest to pitch the case for war to the Old Gods with Shadow, Laura and Mad Sweeney in tow. But when things don’t go as planned at the House on the Rock, they all find themselves on a haunting journey through middle America. Hammerstein Ballroom at the Manhattan Center. American Gods season 2 will see the return of Ricky Whittle as Shadow, Ian McShane as Mr. Wednesday, and Emily Browning as Laura. Jesse Alexander (Hannibal, Star Trek: Discovery) will serve as showrunner while Gaiman, according to Starz CEO Chris Albrecht, will be “taking more of a central role and moving forward into a more traditional showrunner function.” Gaiman said that he will “help plot and guide and build American Gods” while collaborating closely with Alexander.
