FEATURETTE: Where Were Ant-Man & The Wasp during Avengers: Infinity War?

There’s no denying that viewers walk out with a lot of questions when they leave Avengers: Infinity War. And one of those questions is “Just where were the half a dozen characters that didn’t make an appearance?”

Valkyrie and Korg were last seen on the Asgard refugee ship at the end of Thor: Ragnarok. But they’re nowhere to be seen when Thanos and his Black Order attack the vessel in search of the Tesseract.

Hawkeye is apparently holed up with his family in that farmhouse we saw back in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

As for Ant-Man and The Wasp?

Looks like tomorrow we’ll be getting a trailer for the film that is sure to play a big part in reversing that distressing ending of Infinity War. We know the Quantum Realm has to play a part in bringing back our disintegrated brethren.

Here’s the official synopsis:

From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes “Ant Man and The Wasp,” a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink. In the aftermath of “Captain America: Civil War,” Scott Lang grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from the past.

It sounds very much like Ant-Man and The Wasp will take place during the events of Avengers: Infinity War, and perhaps we’ll get a glimpse at another disintegration or two at the end of the film as it catches up to Thanos’ disastrous victory, and The Avengers devastating defeat. But because it’s Ant-Man and The Wasp, we can look forward to some levity. Which I’m sure we can all use in the MCU after Infinity War.

Ant-Man and The Wasp is in theatres July 6, 2018.
