WATCH: ‘Lost in Space’ Explores Will and Robot’s Friendship

At the heart of Netflix’s Lost in Space is the strong bond shared between protagonist Will Robinson and the Robot. Their unique friendship changes both of them throughout the course of the season and helps to save the lives of Will and his family. Though Netflix has tweaked the story a bit (and gives the Robot a modern upgrade), their connection is still incredibly poignant and at times even heartbreaking. Netflix’s newest featurette highlights their complicated friendship and teases the Robot’s complex backstory, an intriguing addition to this fantastic reimagining of Lost in Space.
