Sense8 series finale date revealed by Netflix

The conclusion of Sense8, the sci-fi drama created by Lana and Lilly Wachowski and J. Michael Straczynski will be airing in June, according to Deadline.

As previously reported, Sense8 was tragically cancelled after two seasons but intense and passionate fan reactions prompted Netflix to commission a proper finale for the show.

Sense8 tells the ambitious and extraordinary story of eight individuals from all over the world who suddenly discover that they share an inexplicably powerful bond. They have shared visions and experiences and can communicate with each other directly despite geographical distance. The series was well-received by both fans and critics, and the twelve episodes of the first season were streamed by millions of viewers.

Fans of the Cluster will be glad to know that they will be able to know the fates of their eight favorites as the series wraps up later this year. It will be sad to see them go but at least, fans were granted one last, bittersweet adventure.

“Personal lives are pushed aside as the cluster, their sidekicks, and some unexpected allies band together for a rescue mission and BPO take-down in order to protect the future of all Sensates.

The highly-anticipated conclusion to the saga of the Sense8 cluster will be revealed when the series finale launches globally on June 8, only on Netflix.”

Netflix tweeted the date along with some key art for the finale which includes the tagline “Together Until the End.”

Sense8 boasts of a wonderfully diverse all-star cast including Doona Bae, Jamie Clayton, Tina Desai, Tuppence Middleton, Toby Onwumere, Max Riemelt, Miguel Angel Silvestre, and Brian J. Smith as the Cluster while they are also joined by Freema Agyeman, Terrence Mann, Naveen Andrews, and Daryl Hannah.
