First Look at Brenton Thwaites as Robin on ‘Titans’

WBTV’s upcoming DC Comics series, Titans, is currently in the works from producers Akiva Goldsman (Star Trek: Discovery), Geoff Johns (Justice League), and Arrowverse producers Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter. Along with the the highly anticipated Young Justice: Outsiders, Titans is set to premiere in 2018 on a soon to be launched DC-branded digital platform. The series will follow the adventures of a team consisting of young heroes from across the DC Universe, including Starfire (Anna Diop), Raven (Teagan Croft), Beast Boy (Ryan Potter), and Batman’s original sidekick, Dick Grayson/Robin.

Brenton Thwaites, who most recently starred in this year’s Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, will portray Dick Grayson. Warner Bros. Entertainment has revealed a first look at Thwaites in the classic red, yellow, and green Robin attire. Thanks to costume designer Laura Jean Shannon (Black Lightning, Iron Man), the costume looks very comic book accurate while also appearing as if it could fit within the vein of other DCTV series.
