Having already failed as an IMAX theater premiere earlier this month, ABC is moving forward with its television premiere of Marvel’s Inhumans this Friday, September 29. In one final effort to get fans on board, ABC has unveiled a brand new trailer for the upcoming premiere featuring plenty of new footage not seen before.
Unfortunately, according to numerous sources, poor ticket sales and numerous negative reviews may lead to Inhumans already being cancelled before it even begins. Currently, Inhumans stands at a low 6% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. We’ll have to see tonight if Inhumans has the legs to stand on its own and eventually flourish as a Marvel property.
The new trailer for Inhumans doesn’t go more into the series’ story than previous trailers, though fans are treated to some new footage of Lockjaw, an Inhuman dog with the power of teleportation, as well new footage of the characters Black Bolt (Anson Mount), Karnak (Ken Leung), Maximus (Iwan Rheon), and Medusa (Serinda Swan) with her weird CGI hair.
Check out the full “Strike Back” trailer below and feel free to let us know what you think. Will you be tuning in to ABC tonight to catch the series premiere of Marvel’s Inhumans?
