Thanks to a fan on Twitter, we now know one more thing to look forward to in the coming fifth season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: the man behind former Director Coulson will be directing at least one episode of the show. In response to that fan’s question, Clark Gregg Tweeted:
I’m directing my first one starting this week. #DaisyDatesanAlien

That’s an intriguing hashtag if we ever saw one. Is it just Gregg being his usual silly self? Or could the alien Daisy’s dating be an(other) Inhuman?
One thing we do know for sure: Gregg is no stranger to the role of director, having written and directed two feature films: Choke and Trust Me. This will be his first time directing a TV episode.
Hopefully we’ll hear an official air date soon from ABC for the season five premiere of SHIELD, Fridays at 9pm.
