Some good news for fans of former SHIELD Agent Lance Hunter: Nick Blood’s character will be returning for season five of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.!
EW has learned that Nick Blood will be reprising his role on the show he left in season three. As fans may recall, Blood and Adrianne Palicki (a.k.a. Bobbi Morse a.k.a. Mockingbird) departed in order to star on their own spinoff, Marvel’s Most Wanted. Unfortunately for the characters, ABC declined to pick up the show.
We don’t have any details yet on how Hunter will reintegrate with his old teammates, or how many episodes we can expect to see him in, but expect more information soon. (Palicki is currently unavailable, since she’s joined the cast of FOX’s freshman show The Orville). In the meantime, here’s a behind-the-scenes photo of Nick Blood back on set!
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will be back on ABC sometime later this season, after Inhumans finishes airing.
