The ‘Pitch Perfect 3’ Trailer is Here!

Pitch Perfect 3 was announced all the way back in June of 2015, and now we have our first look at the final aca-awesome film! Thanks to VidCon, the cast of the popular a capella movie franchise were present to talk about the upcoming film and of course release the highly anticipated first trailer.

Even though the film has been announced for quite some time, any information on it has been very minimal, besides which cast members will be involved (all of them except the Treblemakers).

But now we know just exactly what the Barden Bellas will get into, thanks to Universal Pictures’ release of the synopsis:

Now graduated from college and out in the real world where it takes more than a cappella to get by, the Bellas return in Pitch Perfect 3, the next chapter in the beloved series that has taken in more than $400 million at the global box office. After the highs of winning the World Championships, the Bellas find themselves split apart and discovering there aren’t job prospects for making music with your mouth. But when they get the chance to reunite for an overseas USO tour, this group of awesome nerds will come together to make some music, and some questionable decisions, one last time.

The trailer, which can be viewed below, gives us our first glimpse at the Bellas’ last adventure. This writer appreciates that Beca and Amy still live together, after all this time. And from what we see of Ruby Rose’s character, I’m starting to see why everyone’s obsessed with her.

This final installment of our favorite awesome a capella nerds looks like the craziest film of them all! Explosions, Beca falling from an air craft, and a group that actually uses musical instruments (doesn’t that not make it a cappella then?)?!

Pitch Perfect 3 hits theaters Dec. 22nd, 2017. Aca-amazing!
