After the Thrones transfers to Twitter as Talk the Thrones

Talk the Thrones on TwitterAfter The Thrones, the Game of Thrones aftershow from Bill Simmons has been cancelled by HBO but will be launched as Talk the Thrones on Twitter.

According to a report by Deadline, Simmons’ The Ringer announced that Talk the Thrones will stream live on Twitter and Periscope after each episode next month.

Andy Greenwald and Chris Ryan will be returning as hosts. The two also hosted the weekly recap talk show that aired on HBO Go, HBO Now and HBO On Demand.

Variety provides more details about the project:

“Simmons, who founded the Ringer last year after an acrimonious departure from ESPN, recently struck a sales and technology agreement with Vox Media. Under the pact, the Vox sales and marketing teams will sell brand advertising for the Ringer; in addition, the Ringer will use Vox’s proprietary Chorus technology and data platform for digital media.”

Game of Thrones season 7 will premiere on July 16 on HBO. Don’t miss Talk the Thrones right after.
