All-New Main Trailer Released for Christopher Nolan’s ‘Dunkirk’

Written and directed by Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight, Interstellar), Dunkirk tells the story of The Battle of Dunkirk, which occurred during World War II and saw the defense and evacuation of British and Allied forces from Dunkirk, France. The upcoming war epic stars an array of talented and big name actors including former Nolan film alums Tom Hardy and Cillian Murphy, as well as Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh, James D’Arcy, and Harry Styles.

The latest trailer from Warner Bros. Pictures, advertised as the Official Main Trailer, goes more into the plot and story of Dunkirk, more so than previously released trailers. The trailer builds up the tension, suspense, and fear needed for the subject matter at hand and judging from the trailer as well as the work Christopher Nolan has done in the past, Dunkirk looks like it may be another solid addition to the director’s filmography.
