‘iZombie’ Season 3 Premiere Airs Tonight on the CW!

Almost a year after the second season finale, iZombie airs its third season tonight. If you’re fuzzy on the events of the prior episodes, eat some brain…food.

Here’s a recap on what you need to know for the premiere in three sentences or less: New Max Rager president Vivian Stoll is a zombie, who wants Liv to join her zombie army, Fillmore Graves. Peyton, Blaine, and Ravi have potential love triangle feels (if they don’t already). Lastly, Babineaux knows!

What are you most looking forward this season?

This writer in particular wants a solid Ravi side plot (or main, because you know he deserves it), less on the Ravi/Peyton/Blaine love triangle and more on developing Peyton’s character as a whole, and to see Clive sort out his thoughts about this zombie-infested city he now knows he lives in.

Speaking of Clive, Michael Goodwin spoke with IGN to tease Clive’s whereabouts/thought process this season:

“I think Clive probably believes he’s one of the only human beings in law enforcement who knows about this and he also knows that if the information gets out it can cause chaos. So he’s doing everything he can to bring this to an end and solve this. He thinks he has an answer. They all think they have an answer.”

Rose McIver adds to this, in regards to Clive/Liv’s new dynamic: ‘You already know I’m on the brain. This is what I’m going to do. I need to do this to get the vision.’ So she gets to go a lot further around Clive and it leads to some hilarious moments.”

While we’re bound to see Liv on heaps of brains, it’s worth noting that we will only see so much of Major’s side effects from eating brains; I’m intrigued, tell me more!

From Veronica Mars‘ Jason Dohring finally being a part of the series to the return of Robert Knepper (so Angus didn’t die), we’ll get our fair share of guest stars this season.
