Louis Herthum promoted to series regular on Westworld

Louis Herthum, who plays Peter Abernathy, father of Dolores (played by Evan Rachel Wood), has been promoted to series regular on Westworld.

According to a report by Deadline, the veteran actor will be playing a bigger role in the upcoming second season of the sci-fi show, which is not due to air until around 2018. His character had been a recurring guest star in six episodes of the first season. He plays one of the park’s hosts, robots who resemble human beings and who have begun gaining sentience.

Herthum has appeared on numerous television series over the years including Murder, She Wrote, JAG, Longmire, Breaking Bad, and Narcos. His extensive experience also covers appearances in several HBO series such as True Blood and True Detective.

As previously reported, another guest star, Talulah Riley, was also recently promoted to series regular.

Westworld season 2 will premier in 2018 on HBO.
