Angela to play a bigger role in Westworld Season 2

WestworldFans of Talulah Riley’s host/greeter will be happy to know she will have more to do in the second season of Westworld.

According to a report on The Wrap, guest star Talulah Riley has been promoted to a series regular on the sci-fi show. She plays Angela, described as the “host whose beatific face welcomed guests to Westworld for decades.” But HBO added something more intriguing:

“Angela will prove to be one of the last faces many guests will ever see.”

Her character was seen greeting William when he first arrived in Westworld, and then she proved to be in league with Wyatt, tricking both Teddy and the Man in Black when they went in search of him.

Talulah Riley is known for her roles in Pride and Prejudice, Inception, and Thor: the Dark World.

Westworld is the series based on the 1973 Michael Crichton movie of the same name about a Western-themed park whose robots start acting out of control. The first season ended last year with a bloody finale, setting the stage for an intriguing continuation, as some of the park’s hosts gained sentience and started taking charge of their own stories.

As previously reported, Westworld was renewed for a second season but this might not air until 2018.
