Wednesday March 8th was International Women’s Day. So Sony Pictures found it fitting to debut the trailer to their upcoming female-led R-rated comedy, Rough Night.

The Sony Pictures press release describes the film as:

“Five best friends from college reunite 10 years later for a wild bachelorette weekend in Miami. Their hard partying takes a hilariously dark turn when they accidentally kill a male stripper. Amidst the craziness of trying to cover it up, they’re ultimately brought closer together when it matters most.”

The film stars Scarlett Johansson, Kate McKinnon, Jillian Bell, Ilana Glazer, and Zoë Kravitz.

The full-length red band trailer can be viewed below.

Rough Night hits theaters June 16th.

Thoughts on the film? I’m curious to see what sets this film apart from the usual bachelorette themed films – besides the obvious “accidentally killing a male stripper” part.
