INTERVIEW: ‘The Expanse’ Returns to Syfy Tonight!

The one thing we desperately need more of on television right now is hard science fiction. I’m talking about giant Space Operas like Star Trek (I’m not entirely sure about the one we’ll be getting…eventually), and Battlestar Galactica.

So that’s why we would like to express our gratitude that Syfy’s The Expanse exists. The ambitious show, based on the popular series of books, tells the story of a future for our solar system where conflict abounds between the politicians of Earth, the military of Mars, and those living in the asteroid belt, where much of the economic growth happens.

Back in October, we sat down to talk with novelists Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck, series writer Mark Fergus, and actors Steven Strait, Dominique Tipper, Wes Chatham, and Cas Anvar about what to expect from Season 2.
