Reign’s Three Queens Unite In The First Season 4 Promo!

Mary’s final year of reign begins February 10th Credit: The CW

If you’ve been anxiously awaiting the return of the CW’s Reign, then this first teaser will sure make all that waiting worth it.

The teaser may only be one minute long, but it’s utterly effective. Each queen (Mary, Catherine, and Elizabeth) confesses the sins they’ve committed throughout the entire series, from partaking in several courtships and lovers (“Few were worthy,” mentions Catherine) to getting revenge on those that betrayed them.

What’s so brilliant about this promo is how seamless each Queen’s monologue of sins fits in perfectly with the other. Not only does it make for a beautiful display of dialogue, it shows how truly similar each queen is to each other.

“I have murder in my heart. And I will do anything to protect myself; and preserve my reign.”
