New Poster for ‘S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Teases The LMD

To get us all (even more) excited for the return of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. next week, ABC has released a new promotional poster for the latter half of the fourth season. As WeGotThisCovered reports, the poster even has a little Easter egg for fans of Marvel comics.

The promo poster features Agent May, of course, as the show’s new Life Model Decoy (LMD). That’s not really surprising, given the events of the fall finale. However, the subtitle for this arc is “Strange Tales”, with the number 135 in the bottom right. This is a reference to the Strange Tales comic book series, of which issue number 135 features the first-ever comic book appearance of an LMD.
