Before there was Westworld, there was Humans, a powerful story about Artificial Intelligence and the meaning of “life” in a world where human beings can create human-like robotics that can think and feel for themselves. In a time when hate speech and the ‘other’ brings up echos of World Wars long past, Humans forces us to look at our choices and the rhetoric around us as we try to understand ourselves.
We sat down with the cast and creators at NYCC 2016 to discuss the importance of the series, and where we can expect to be taken next on the Humans journey.
Humans Season 2 will premiere in the UK on Channel 4 on 30th October, with a US air date later to be confirmed by AMC.
