The latest addition to the growing cast of Pacific Rim 2 is Ukrainian actress Ivana Sakhno (Viral.)
According to Empire, Pacific Rim 2 continues to expand its diverse cast, this time with Ivana Sakhno joining in an undisclosed role. This film is a sequel to the 2013 Guillermo del Toro sci-fi epic that explored a dystopian world where giant monsters called kaiju terrorized humanity and they could only be defeated by giant, dual-piloted robots called jaegers. Pacific Rim starred Rinko Kikuchi, Idris Elba, Charlie Hunnam, and Ron Perlman.
As previously reported, the sequel to Pacific Rim will star John Boyega (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) as the son of Idris Elba’s character from the first film, Stacker Pentecost. Other cast members include Scott Eastwood, Jian Ting, Cailee Spaeny, Adria Arjona and Levi Meaden. No plot details have been revealed so far.
Pacific Rim 2 is set to be released on February 23, 2018.
