Marvel TV Head Discusses ‘S.H.I.E.L.D.’/Netflix Crossover Rumors

As Marvel’s presence on the small screen grows with every one of their new Netflix shows, it’s natural for fans to wonder: will there ever be a crossover between Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and this interwoven Marvel Netflix universe?

During New York Comic-Con’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. panel, Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb answered this question succinctly and intriguingly, saying, “Fair question. Stay tuned.” When speaking further to Screen Rant, Loeb added,

I get in trouble every single time I say this, which is #ItsAllConnected. But trust me when I say #ItsAllConnected and that’s about all I can say on it at this time.

The hashtag Loeb references here originated during the earlier seasons of S.H.I.E.L.D., when there were more explicit tie-ins with the MCU. And it’s true that things are more complicated when considering TV crossovers now, when different studios and networks own the rights to different properties. Still, hearing that Loeb thinks it’s possible is encouraging.
