Coinciding with their presence at this year’s New York Comic Con, Lionsgate Entertainment released the first official trailer for John Wick: Chapter 2. Directed and written by returning talents Chad Stahelski and Derek Kolstad respectively, John Wick: Chapter 2 sees Keanu Reeves (The Matrix) return to the role of John Wick, a former hitman out of retirement now set out on a mission that spans the globe.
Chapter 2 will also star returning actors John Leguizamo and Lance Reddick and newcomers Common and Laurence Fishburne. The sequel also marks the reunion of Reeves, Fishburne, and a former Matrix Trilogy stunt coordinator-turned-director Chad Stahelski as all three worked on said trilogy together in the past.
The upcoming sequel promises to be bigger and more action-packed than its predecessor, which is evident from its brand new trailer. Check it out below and feel free to let us know what you think in the comments. John Wick: Chapter 2 explodes into theaters February 10, 2017.
