Details Revealed for Upcoming 4-Series CW DC Superhero Crossover

invasionKicking off in October, The CW now has four DC TV series airing from Monday through Thursday. Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl will all begin their respective new seasons soon and we’ll eventually see all four series crossover in one 4-night special event.

According to Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim, the upcoming 4-series crossover story-arc will take inspiration from the 1989 DC Comics story line Invasion!, which featured a villainous alien race known as the Dominators (right). The specific dates and titles for the upcoming episodes have not been revealed, although sources report that Arrow‘s 100th episode will take place within the crossover. The 100th episode of Arrow will also feature the return of Oliver’s mother Moira Queen (Susanna Thompson) and season two villain Slade Wilson/Deathstroke (Manu Bennett).

We’ll report more details on this upcoming epic event as more information comes through, but until then enjoy seeing The CW’s DC heroes team up in their “Superhero Fight Club 2.0” trailer below.

New seasons of The Flash and Arrow premiere next week on Tuesday, October 4th, and Wednesday, October 5th, respectively. The following week will see the season premieres of Supergirl on Monday, October 10, and Legends of Tomorrow on Thursday, October 13.
