‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Offers First Look at Ghost Rider

After the announcement that Ghost Rider is joining the cast of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., many fans have been eager to see Gabriel Luna’s Robbie Reyes on screen. Now we can finally get our first glimpse. Entertainment Weekly shared this intriguing photo of young Reyes:

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s EPs, Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen, promise that our team will be delving into the craziness of a man with a flaming skull riding around LA. Says Whedon, with the addition of Ghost Rider, “[w]e’re opening it up even further to the world of things we don’t totally understand.” Tancharoen adds, “Our team will definitely be trying to science this guy with the flaming skull.” (And now I’m excited to imagine Fitz and Simmons running around a bemused Robbie Reyes in the lab, “sciencing” him to their hearts’ desire.)

In addition to this, Marvel’s official Youtube channel has shared this bit of tantalizing “found footage” of the Rider. It’s not much, but it does leave you wanting more:

With TVLine having released the first official image of Jason O’Mara’s new director a few weeks ago, the upcoming season is taking shape nicely. Thankfully, we don’t have too long to wait now, since the season premiere is Tuesday, September 20, at 10pm on ABC.
