Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released the first full trailer for Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders. The upcoming animated film sees the return of Adam West, Burt Ward, and Julie Newmar to their iconic roles of Batman, Robin, and Catwoman, respectively. Essentially, the film will be a continuation of the classic Batman television series which aired from 1966 to 1968.
In addition to Catwoman, the film will also feature a few more villains from Batman’s rogues gallery including Penguin, Riddler, and The Joker. Judging from the trailer the animation looks solid and the camp has been turned up to 11 thanks to the dialogue provided by West and Ward.
Rated PG, a far cry from Warner Bros. last animated DC film, Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders is set to release digitally on October 11 and on Blu-ray and DVD this November 1. Check out the full trailer below and feel free to let us know what you think in the comments.
