Nick Sagar
With new seasons come new characters. And our favorite supernatural series, Shadowhunters, just cast a new character that might cause some drama for Clary, Isabelle, Simon, and company.
Playing the recurring role of Victor Aldertree is Nick Sagar. As Deadline describes him, Aldertree is “a charming Clave Representative who arrives at the New York Institute in the aftermath of Jace’s departure with Valentine.”
Similar to Lydia Branwell’s (Stephanie Bennett) character, he might be an original character just for the show. The only mention of an Aldertree is Inquisitor Aldertree in the third Mortal Instruments book: City of Glass.
Sagar’s previous credits include: The Haves and the Have Nots and Hank Zipzer.
