
Using San Diego Comic-Con as their outlet, Warner Bros. Pictures has unveiled the first official trailer for Wonder Woman. Directed by Patty Jenkins (The Killing) and starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, and Connie Nielsen, Wonder Woman is set prior to the events of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Gadot’s Wonder Woman is introduced to Steve Trevor (Pine) and makes her way from her hidden Amazonian island of Themyscira to our world in the 1920s.
The trailer features some brief interactions between Wonder Woman and Trevor, as well as provides some amazing shots of the titular character in full super hero garb fighting her way through a war. With sword, shield, and a glowing golden lasso in hand, the trailer features plenty of Wonder Woman action that is sure to please fans. We even get to see glimpses of Themyscira with actor Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, mother of Wonder Woman, and official confirmation that this version of Wonder Woman will be a creation of the Greek god Zeus.
