Batman Assembles a Team in New ‘Justice League’ Sizzle Reel

Warner Bros. Pictures has pieced together a special first look at their upcoming DC Comics film, Justice League, as well as a first official team photo (below). Taking place after the events of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the sizzle reel sees Ben Affeck’s Bruce Wayne/Batman attempt to assemble the members of the Justice League. Along with Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman, Batman is seen trying to persuade Jason Mamoa’s Arthur Curry/Aquaman, Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen/The Flash, and Ray Fisher’s Victor Stone/Cyborg into joining their crusade.

Directed by Zack Snyder (Batman v Superman, Watchmen), Justice League definitely looks similar in style to Snyder’s previous work, but this time it seems there will be a bit more humor and lighter tones injected in. There’s still no sign of Henry Cavill’s Superman, so we can safely assume he is still (SPOILER ALERT) “dead” at the time this footage takes place, but the character is said to return in the film.

The sizzle reel provides out first real glimpses at The Flash and Cyborg in costume, while Aquaman’s full superhero get-up can be viewed in the newly released team photo above. The Flash’s costume is definitely a huge departure from what we’ve seen on The CW’s The Flash, as it’s more in line with his costume in the popular video game Injustice: Gods Among Us.
