It’s not Pokemon Go, but Warner Brothers is getting into augmented reality with their Comic Con bags. The bags highlight the television shows:
The 100, Arrow, The Big Bang Theory, Blindspot, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, Gotham, iZOMBIE, Lucifer, The Originals/The Vampire Diaries Combo, Supergirl, Supernatural, Teen Titans Go!, Justice League Action, Vixen, and DC Super Hero Girls Universe
and the movies:
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (premieres November 18) and Suicide Squad (premieres August 5).
You can preview the experience for Arrow, Blindspot, and DC Super Hero Girls, which are “live” now, and can be “blipped” by using the visual discovery app, Blippar, on the images of those bags provided in the artwork link.
More than 135,000 bags will be distributed. Can you “catch them all?”
Check out the press release to get more info on what Warner Brothers will be handing out at San Diego Comic Con, and watch this video of Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder showing off what these AR bags can do.
