A new poster for the upcoming season of The Walking Dead has been released, featuring Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Negan facing his 11 potential victims.
The last season of The Walking Dead ended last April with a massive (and frustrating) cliffhanger: Negan threatening to kill one member of Rick’s group and then doing so in the dark, leaving audiences in the worst kind of suspense. We need to wait for the seventh season to begin before the mystery is solved, and endless speculation has been happening among the fans.
The eleven ill-fated individuals who may or may not be the target of Negan’s wrath (and that of his barbed wire covered bat, Lucille) are:
Rick (Andrew Lincoln), Maggie (Lauren Cohan) Carl (Chandler Riggs), Abraham (Michael Cudlitz), Michonne (Danai Gurira), Daryl (Norman Reedus), Rosita (Christian Serratos), Glenn (Steven Yeun), Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green), Aaron (Ross Marquand), and Eugene (Josh McDermitt).
The new poster was released specifically for the upcoming San Diego Comic Con. Fans of the show will be able to address all their burning questions to the cast and executive producers of The Walking Dead during their panel on Friday, July 22. This will be monitored by Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick and will include showrunner Scott M. Gimple and executive producers Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Dave Alpert, and Greg Nicotero, as well as Jeffrey Dean Morgan and his 11 potential victims.
Fans who attend this panel will not only get inside scoop into season six, but will also be treated to a sneak peek at season 7 (but probably not one that will spoil the big reveal of who got killed in the finale). In a previous interview during the Saturn Awards, Chandler Riggs assured fans that the season will be even bigger and well worth the wait.
The Walking Dead season 7 will air in October on AMC.
