WB Games and DC Entertainment have officially announced and released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming sequel to Injustice: Gods Among Us, simply dubbed Injustice 2. Developed by NetherRealm Studios, the company behind the Mortal Kombat franchise, Injustice 2 will once again pit DC hero against DC hero. The first game featured a slew of DC characters to choose from, and it’s safe to say Injustice 2 will feature some new additions to the line up.
Judging from the announcement trailer we can assume Superman, Batman, Aquaman, and The Flash will be returning, and some costume changes and upgrades are apparent with Batman and The Flash. Additionally, Supergirl makes an appearance in the trailer, establishing that she will be one of the new additions to the popular video game universe.
