New Game of Thrones photos show Bronn

Promotional photos for the upcoming episode of Game of Thrones show Bronn and the Blackfish.

Several new promotional photos have been released for the seventh episode of the sixth season of Game of Thrones, according to a report by IGN. These photos show Tyrion’s former sellsword Bronn, Jaime Lannister, Brynden Tully (a.k.a. the Blackfish), Sansa, Jon Snow, Cersei, Margaery, and Arya.

Bronn hasn’t been seen on the show since he and Jaime had their adventures in Dorne last season. (The actor was probably busy fighting crime in Ripper Street.) But it looks like he will be joining Jaime as the latter travels to the Riverlands, his new mission as of the last episode, where they will face off with Catelyn Tully’s uncle Brynden, the Blackfish.

We haven’t seen the Blackfish since the infamous Red Wedding towards the end of the third season. But he has been mentioned in previous episodes of this season as amassing the Tully forces, probably to avenge the death of his niece and grand-nephew. Brienne is also on her way to ask for his support for Sansa’s campaign to retake Winterfell from the Boltons.

These photos give us an idea of what the episode, entitled “The Broken Man”, is going to focus on. There is Margaery Tyrell looking relieved as she hugs her grandmother, after avoiding the ordeal of a Walk of Atonement. Then there is Arya Stark’s back as she stares at the Titan of Braavos. Jon and Sansa stand together with Davos Seaworth, as they are probably gearing up for the massive battle against the Boltons to reclaim the North.
