Fear the Walking Dead renewed for season 3

AMC recently announced that Fear the Walking Dead will be returning for a third season next year.

The second season of Fear the Walking Dead has just begun and already this The Walking Dead spinoff has been renewed by AMC. On April 15, the network announced the renewal of the show for a third season of sixteen episodes to be aired in 2017, according to a report by Entertainment Weekly.

Charlie Collier, president of AMC, SundanceTV, and AMC Studios, had this to say about the renewal:

“What Dave Erickson and Robert Kirkman have invented in Fear the Walking Dead is to be applauded. Watching Los Angeles crumble through the eyes of our characters and seeing each make decisions and try to figure out the rules of their new world – it’s fresh, eerie and compelling and we’re all in for the ride…

Fear the Walking Dead season 2 airs every Sunday on AMC.
