Kit Harington finally breaks his silence about his role in the sixth season of the HBO epic series. In an interview with Time Out London, Harington makes a few definitive comments about Jon Snow, confirming that he will have scenes as his character, putting to rest the countless speculations by fans. However, he won’t be returning in the way that fans would want.

Harington told Time Out:

“Look, I’m not in the show any more. I’m definitely not in the new series.”

He clarified by adding, in a joking manner:

“I filmed some scenes of me being dead – it’s some of my best work.”

He refers to his character’s shocking demise at the end of the fifth season of Game of Thrones, betrayed by his so-called brothers in the Night’s Watch.

When asked if he knew what will happen in the upcoming season, he denied any knowledge. He said:

“I don’t have a clue. I know how long I’m a corpse for, but I can’t tell you that!”

So Jon Snow fans have at least a few scenes to look forward to, even if they are only of Harington as an inanimate body.

Game of Thrones season 6 premieres on April 24 on HBO.
