Second Part of Netflix’s Daredevil Trailer Released

The second half of the Netflix’s Daredevil season two trailer was released Thursday. The two-minute thirty-one second video depicts the show’s take on Elektra. Not much light was shed on Elektra’s past, however. It only showed that there clearly is a backstory to these two, as Matt walks into his apartment to an expecting Elektra. Hoping that he will believe she missed him, as a way to gain his help. Uncaring about whatever her plight is, good ole Matt gives her a taste of his sass by not wanting to hear about trust after she broke into his house.

One thing does become clear in this trailer. Even though Matt may be the best fighter, he sometimes doesn’t know it all. That being the news Elektra has to share, regarding the fact that not all the bad guys fled town. Instead, they just hid in the corners allowing Daredevil to do their dirty work for them so they could come back stronger than ever.

The certain backstory that is still to be unleased allows for Elektra and Matt to team up for some ass kicking. It also gives viewers another love interest to swoon over with Matt. Especially as this trailer paints the picture that the only one who can understand Matt is Elektra.

With Foggy in a constant state of worry about whether he will find Matt dead, he begs him to quit the vigilante lifestyle. Separately, Claire gets on the band wagon too, trying to wake Matt up about his surroundings. Stubborn and needing to save his city Matt won’t give up his alter ego. Which could drive all those he cares about away.

Season 1 of Netflix’s Daredevil debuted on Netflix in April 2015 with 13 episodes. It featured Matt taking on the thug Kingpin, and quickly took top ratings and became another successful venture for Netflix and Marvel, garnering many award nominations. All episodes of Netflix’s Daredevil season 2 release March 18 on Netflix. Take a look at the second part of the trailer below. Are you excited about the addition of Elodie Yung as Elektra?
