Charles Dance cast in The New Ghostbusters

Game of Thrones veteran Charles Dance has been cast in an unspecified role in the reboot of The Ghostbusters, according to a report by Slashfilm. Details on his role remain a mystery, though fans are already making many intriguing speculations.

Whether he is an ally of the Ghostbusters, a supernatural villain, or just a familiar face making a cameo, it will be an extra treat for fans to see Dance in the film. He will also be seen as Mr. Bennet in the upcoming period mash-up film Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

The New Ghostbusters stars Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones as the new team of paranormal investigators. The rest of the cast includes Chris Hemsworth, Andy Garcia, Michael Kenneth Williams, Cecily Strong, Elizabeth Perkins, Matt Walsh, and Toby Huss. Paul Feig (The Heat, Spy) directed and co-wrote the film with Kate Dippold.

The New Ghostbusters is set to be released on July 15, 2016.
