The Walking Dead adds three series regulars

TWD Key ArtThree of season five’s recurring characters have been promoted to series regulars, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Alexandria residents Deanna Monroe (Tovah Feldshuh), her son Spencer Monroe (Austin Nichols), and Jessie Anderson (Alexandra Breckenridge) will play more significant roles in The Walking Dead’s sixth season. Deanna is the leader of Alexandria and based on a character from the comics, while Jessie is Rick Grimes’ potential love interest.

They join new series regular Lennie James who plays Morgan, a character who has appeared in various episodes, including the pilot. This brings the list of series regulars to 18.
