CW Seed Releases ‘Vixen’ Series Premiere Featurette

Based on the DC Comics character and set within the same universe as Arrow, The Flash, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Vixen follows the adventures of Mari McCabe, a superhero who is able to access the power of any animal through a magical totem she carries around her neck. Vixen herself will be voiced Megalyn Echikunwoke, who voiced the same character in Bruce Timm’s Justice League Unlimited animated series. Additionally, Arrow and The Flash stars Stephen Amell, Grant Gustin, Carlos Valdes, Katie Cassidy, and Emily Bett Rickards will be reprising their roles from their respective series.

The series premiere of Vixen is right around the corner, debuting on Tuesday, August 25 on The CW’s online platform, CW Seed. In a recently released featurette Executive Producer/Story Editor Marc Guggenheim, Producer/Director James Tucker, Lead Character Designer Phil Bourassa, and WB Animation’s SVP of Creative Affairs Peter Girardi go into what to expect from the upcoming animated mini-series.
