Marvel Introduces Cosplay Variants This October

Just in time for New York Comic Con, Marvel Comics is planning on releasing Cosplay Variants for various titles this October. Paying tribute to the fans who go the extra mile and cosplay as their favorite Marvel characters, Marvel will feature cosplayers on the covers of several issues. Here’s what Marvel SVP of Sales and Marketing had to say about the upcoming project:

Cosplayers are taking over. Each convention I go to, it seems like there are more and more fans dressing up like their favorite Marvel characters. These homemade, hand-crafted costumes are so elaborate, it looks like they leapt off the comic page. The Cosplay Variant initiative is our way of supporting a community that supports us.
